One Step Today.
A Better Future Tomorrow.

Ek Qadam helps children without parents reach life-changing education — and becomes the support system that stays with them through the journey
●●   Children are given the opportunity to study at leading cadet colleges and boarding schools, with all educational and related expenses fully covered by Ek Qadam.
WHAT WE BELIEVE

A child’s future should never be determined by the circumstances they were born into.

Education can open the door to opportunity. But fees alone cannot guide a child through a difficult day, listen when they need someone, or stand beside them when life feels uncertain.

That is why Ek Qadam goes beyond education.

We open the door to opportunity—but we do not walk away once a child steps through it.

We stay, we guide, we encourage, and we walk alongside them as they find their own path.

WHERE WE START

We start with education, because it changes everything else

A good education decides a child’s health, their work and their choices for the rest of their life. So that is where we began

We take the toughest and best route open to each child: a place at a boarding school that will push them hard and look after them properly

WHY MENTORS

No amount of money replaces a parent’s hand on your shoulder

Parents’ days, a slipping report card, a difficult week, or simply a free Saturday to spend together—these are the moments that call for a person, not a programme.

Our children need someone who shows up, listens, encourages them, celebrates their wins, and stays when things get difficult.

Someone who chooses to be there.

Clear answers before the next step

Money is not what we want. We need people who will give a child their time, attention and guidance.
Unlike a scholarship, Ek Qadam’s model is built around long-term mentorship and practical support throughout a child’s journey.
Ek Qadam is being built by people committed to education, mentorship and transparent support for children from orphanages in Pakistan.
